Large Victorian 9ct Gold Locket with Sapphires

Late 19th century 9-carat gold locket with sapphires and chain, total weight 23.8 g. Nearly 82cm long. An old family heirloom from noble family lines, preserved within the family to the present day. The exact branch through which it passed was lost over time, but the piece itself remained part of the family’s confirmed history.
