Nicole Nielsen 18kt gold full hunter pocket watch

An incredibly rare Nicole Nielsen solid gold18kt full hunter pocket watch. Before being sent to auction I have decided to advertise it. The Nicole Nielsen company was started by Swiss born watchmakers Charles Victor Adolphe Nicole and Jules Philippe Capt in 1839. By 1858 the company had relocated to larger premises at 14 Soho Square, where it remained until it finally closed in 1934 For a period of about 60 years from circa 1870, Nicole Nielsen manufactured some of the finest and most complicated English watches ever made, including tourbillions, see video attached a 200k euro watch, chronographs and ‘special order’ items. This full hunter 18kt pocket watch was originally owned by an Irish Catholic Monsignor and comes with the original solid 18ct chain and cross dated 1920. At a guess the watch dates to approx. 1884. It is in incredible condition and working. The complete package weights 167g including mechanism and it is solid18ct gold.
