Vintage 1970s Yellow Sapphire Brooch / Pin - 18ct

For sale is a really stunning vintage sapphire brooch dating from around the 1970s. The brooch is set with seven round cut yellow sapphires, set in a V shaped pattern and each stone weighing approx. 0.7ct, so there are approx. 5ct of stunning sun yellow sapphires. The sapphires are set within curved and bows of ribbons of gold. The gold is textured and finished throughout with plums of bows and made of 18ct yellow gold. This is a lovely large brooch and measures 39.5mm in length and 30mm in width. The brooch weighs 14.6g The brooch is fully hallmarked and tested for 18ct yellow gold.
