Challen upright piano - restored

Challen were one of the most popular pianos in the 20's and 30's, with good reason. They were a well built instrument, always using quality materials. This particular piano is finished in a walnut veneer - one of our favourites. The case has been stripped and repolished in a satin finish and all brasswork has been polished too. Internally the action has been restored to our usual high standards, including new repetition springs and tapes. The "ivorite" key tops have been repolished and all keys cleaned. The pedal system has also been restored. ​A great all round piano from a reputable maker. Tim trained at the Welsh School of Musical Instrument Making and Repair, where in 1987 he qualified as a Piano Tuner/Technician.
