In 2020 O'Briain Pianos imported this Chappell Semi-Concert grand from London and thoroughly restored the cabinet which is French Polished by hand. In 1990 its previous owner had it restored. The piano is by a top British manufacturer with a reputation for building high quality instruments for professional piano players. Due to its long strings and large soundboard it possesses a clear, rounded, full and even pure tone, with a responsive keyboard and internal action. The piano was tuned to concert pitch annually and played daily. It was kept out of direct sunlight in a steady temperature and healthy environment.
