FREE Antique Victorian/Edwardian Piano – Brooklyn Piano Co. (Dublin Heritage) Description: Beautiful antique late-Victorian / Edwardian upright piano by the Brooklyn Piano Co. (London), originally sold through the famous Pigott & Co. of Grafton Street, Dublin. Features a stunning walnut and ebonized wood casing with gorgeous floral marquetry (wood inlay) detailing. It completely retains its original brass candle sconces, which are rare to find intact! Make: Brooklyn Piano Co. (London) Local History: Original Pigott & Co. Dublin dealer plate. Frame: Vertical Iron Grand (Cast-iron frame). Condition: Cabinet has a wonderful patina with some age-related wear/chipping to the veneer on the side edge (see photos). Internally, it will require tuning and minor repair/restoration if intended for everyday playing, as one hammer is currently detached. Foot pedal broken also.
