Yamaha YUS5 SH2 Silent upright piano, purchased new in November 2022. In excellent condition and very well cared for since new. The YUS5 is Yamaha’s flagship YUS-series upright piano, made in Japan and designed for advanced players and professional use. It is a significant step above the more commonly available Yamaha U1 and U3 models. Fitted from new with Yamaha’s original factory-installed SH2 Silent System, allowing the piano to be played normally as a high-quality acoustic piano or silently through headphones. The Silent system makes it particularly suitable for apartments, semi-detached or terraced homes, or for anyone who wants to practise in the evening or at night without disturbing neighbours or other family members. The SH2 system also offers a range of digital features, including additional instrument voices, recording, Bluetooth audio and USB connectivity. Since new, the piano has been regularly tuned and professionally maintained by the same Registered Piano Technician (RPT).
