Castagnari has always respected Sharon Shannon for her style of playing on their accordions and finally they asked could they call the accordion “The Sharon” in her Honour. Sharon has been approached by a few different companies over the Years to play their accordion and she obliges for the TV appearances but will only play one tune on the sponsored accordion and then she will always revert to the Castagnari Sharon as she is most comfortable with her Castagnari. The Sound is the very same as the Tommy and unbelievably light with a big melodeon sound on the 3 reeds.
