Yamaha GB1K Baby Grand (4'11")

This 1980 Yamaha GB1K is the smallest and most accessible baby grand in the Yamaha range, offering genuine grand piano performance in a compact size. The Yamaha GB1K measures 151 cm in length, making it the most compact baby grand in Yamaha’s collection. It is designed for pianists who want the authentic touch and tonal depth of a grand piano without the need for a large room. Despite its size, it delivers a rich and balanced sound thanks to Yamaha’s carefully scaled string length and optimised soundboard design. The GB1K features Yamaha’s highly regarded grand piano action, giving players a precise and responsive touch that supports both nuanced practice and confident performance. This consistency is one of the reasons Yamaha pianos are trusted in teaching studios and music schools across the world. Built with the same attention to detail that defines the rest of the Yamaha grand piano family, the GB1K offers long-term stability and reliability. The solid spruce soundboard and durable construction mean it holds its tone and tuning well, even with regular use. The GB1K is an exceptional choice for homes, studios and smaller venues where space is limited but the demand for performance and quality is uncompromising. Comes with free nationwide ground floor delivery and is tuned on arrival. Matching stool and five year warranty. www.obriainpianogallery.com
