Released as a flagship performance keyboard, this vintage gem remains highly sought after for its incredibly warm AWM sound engine, onboard sampler, and intuitive layout. 61 full-sized keys with responsive Velocity and Aftertouch. Sound Library: 741 high-quality AWM voices, including a dedicated 480-voice XG bank, across pianos, strings, brass, and organs. Built-in Vocal Harmony alongside 4 independent digital effect blocks. Fully functional 44.1 kHz / 16-bit sampler with mic/line inputs to create, stretch, or edit custom samples. Fully working 3.5" floppy disk drive, comprehensive MIDI In/Out/Thru, and dual audio inputs/outputs. Built-in 2-way bass-reflex speaker system that delivers a deep, rich standalone sound. No keys stick and every single key plays cleanly. Please note that the B4 key rings slightly louder than standard velocity curves. From time to time upon startup, the keyboard outputs confused, echoey, or "spacy" sounds when keys are pressed, but cycling/changing through a few different voices randomly entirely clears this glitch up within a couple of minutes, returning the board to its crisp, standard operation. The backlit LCD screen is bright and readable, but shows minor cosmetic bleed common for a screen of this vintage age (visible in photos).
