Brix food refractometer (measures sweetnesss)

I have a good portable refractometer for measuring the sugar content of food. In years past, when I cooked more sweet stuff, I'd use it. If you're a big Heston Blumenthal fan, you'll definitely known what this is. You add a few drops of your sauce or puree or jam, whatever, and look through it to a light source and it shows you how sweet it will be, the sugar content measured on the Brix scale. This lets you get your sweets and jams to a consistent sugar content so each batch will always have the same level. I really don't make sweets or jams anymore, so it's just been sitting there. Waiting for someone that likes to be consistent or to experiment!
