Habitat Solid Beech Kitchen - Butchers Block

Habitat Canella Solid Beech Freestanding Kitchen Island / Butcher's Block I purchased this beautiful solid beech kitchen island from Habitat in Dublin approximately 18 years ago. It has been a fantastic and incredibly versatile piece of furniture over the years. The unit features two drawers, generous shelving for storage, and a substantial solid beech worktop. While designed as a kitchen butcher's block/island, it would work equally well in a dining area, retail space, craft room, or home office. This is a quality piece of furniture built to last. It would benefit from a light sanding and oiling, after which it will look fantastic again. The solid beech construction is extremely sturdy and has stood the test of time. Originally part of the Habitat Canella range, this freestanding kitchen dining butcher's block/island was a premium piece when purchased and cost a significant amount new. Now looking for a new home where it can continue to be enjoyed for many years to come.
