Solid Wood Extendable Dining Table & 6 Chairs – Carved Detail Large traditional extendable dining table with 6 matching carved spindle-back dining chairs. A substantial, heavy piece of furniture with lovely carved detailing, turned pedestal legs and decorative claw-style feet. The table has a built-in geared extension mechanism and extends very easily. Dimensions: Width: 106 cm Length: 170 cm Extended length: 213 cm Includes glass top sized for the table when fully extended The extension section and glass top have never been used, which is why the extension is noticeably darker than the main tabletop – it shows the original colour/finish of the wood. The set has been well used over the years and the tabletop and chairs show wear, marks and fading. It would benefit from sanding and re-varnishing/refinishing, but it is a very solid set and would make a great restoration/upcycling project. The carved details should come up particularly well. The extension mechanism is shown in the photos and is in good working order. Table, 6 chairs, extension section and glass top all included. Collection only due to size and weight.
