Victorian Style Dining Table & Red Velvet Chairs

This is a beautiful ornate dining set in rich dark wood. The table has a polished top with a moulded edge, and the band under the top is carved with scrolls and leaves all the way round. It stands on a single carved central pedestal with four sweeping scrolled feet, so there are no corner legs in the way and everyone gets plenty of legroom. The 6 matching balloon-back chairs have carved crests at the top. The backs are button-tufted in burgundy velvet with brass stud trim, and the seats are padded in the same velvet. The set is solid and sturdy, with light wear from normal use: some rubbing on the table edge and the odd mark on the fabric. Photos show its true condition.
