Please check the photos for the overall cosmetic condition. Fault: The laptop was working, but the internal FPC cable connecting the motherboard to the Power/RJ45 board was damaged. The original cable is a proprietary VAIO/Positivo part (PF_EM_IW522_RJ45_BOARD_FPC_V1.0) which is very difficult to source in Europe. A generic replacement cable was tried but was not compatible. The motherboard, display and other main components were working prior to the FPC cable issue. However, as the laptop is currently not fully operational, I cannot guarantee or test every individual component, so it is being sold as-is for parts or repair. Ideal for someone who repairs laptops, needs VAIO FE15 parts, or is able to source the correct FPC cable.
