Selling my own private collection of lamps - All of my lamps are priced separately- The blu Bitossi lamps are extremely well priced, I have them priced to sell probably half of there retail price - they go for a lot more - All of these lamps are very rare , you’ll be hard pushed to find these on the Irish market Founding: The Bitossi family has a long history in ceramics, and Guido Bitossi formally established the company in 1921 in Montelupo Fiorentino, Tuscany. Artistic direction: After World War II, Aldo Londi became the artistic director, a position he held for over 50 years. His vision is credited with elevating Bitossi's status and leading the company into the mid-century modern design movement. Rimini Blu: Londi's iconic "Rimini Blu" collection, launched in 1955, features over 150 designs in a vibrant blue glaze with abstract motifs. Ettore Sottsass collaboration: The company also developed important collections in collaboration with architect Ettore Sottsass. Continued legacy: The company remains in the family, now led by the fourth generation, and continues to work with major designers, drawing inspiration from its archives and history.
