Handcrafted Table Lamp

This is a very tactile and organic object, it is a vintage Himachal pot made into a lamp base. These pots were traditionally used in the Himalayan regions of India to store water, oil, or other ingredients. These handcrafted pots are often made from a single piece of wood, such as teak or neem. Each pot is unique due to its vintage and handmade nature. This pot been much used as you can see from its surface wear and repairs. It has been matched with a raffia style lamp shade to keep the natural vibe but that is easily changed if desired. It measures 14” in height (just the wooden base) and 9” across. The age, grains and veins and natural lustre of the wood make this lamp very attractive. In good working order but should be checked by an electrician. As you can see from several images this is very reasonably priced.
