Air Ministry Mid Century Oak Bureau

A very interesting and functional secretaire desk in unrestored used condition. Stamped on its back with AM and the crown symbol – the Air Ministry emblem. A fantastically designed and crafted chest of drawers / bureau / desk  manufactured by the Air Ministry circa 1950s.  Oak faced drawers, top and sides with solid oak handles, three good sized drawers. The top drawer can be opened and flipped down to act as a writing bureau / desk. A decent usable size of 3 drawers underneath the desk part. Chair is from the 60s, not stamped, needs a clean but sturdy, can go with the desk if wanted.
