Bench for the house or garden

Hi, Here is a small selection of benches and tables I make for the living room , kitchen, or garden. Also, due to their compact nature, the benches are also perfect for a cloak room or hallway entrance. The benches pictured are all 45cm high , range in length from 1m to 1.2m long , and 20cm to 22cm deep. The coffee table/ sofa end table is 44cm by 44cm. Most of the items pictured have legs made of 40mm angle iron , recessed flush into the sides. Square wooden legs can also be recessed in a similar way. Functional and decorative hardwood in-lays are a feature of all my benches/tables. (The tops of these examples are made of bulky timber - 2 1/2 to 3 inches thick - timber as thick as this has a tendency to split sometimes along the grain)- the in lay prevents any splits/cracks like this expanding. I put the inlay on benches even if it is not required , as I like the appearance and as a pre-emptive measure. The prices for these benches start at 130 euro. All the benches pictured are 130 - 140 euro. I can make longer or shorter versions , with deeper seats or different heights, and stained lighter or darker - just get in touch. My workshop is in Bray.
