French Pot bellied clock .

This is a beauty. French , circa 1840 . A proper mechanical piece . Massive weights , brass face surround, rugged wooden frame. Needs winding once a week . Strikes on the hour and half hour , and strangly enough , strikes 2 mins after the hour , its a French thing apparently. It is tall, very tall and will not fit everyone's rooms so please measure first. It stands at 235 cm or 92.5" . It is at a great price , these are hand made and certainly not a mass produced item .
