One of this auction’s true Super Star Lot is Lot 441: A Victoria + Albert THE Worcester free standing oval slipper bath in white, with moulded plinth base and integrated waste fitting, of contemporary manufacture. Our favourite star lot is Lot 843: An interesting antique solid silver presentation trophy cup featuring a wide, rounded bowl on a stemmed pedestal base. It features three opposing curved handles, each topped with a spherical finial. The inscription reads 'Taikoo Club Bowling Championship Presented by D Templeton Esq. Won by John Russell 1921'. This piece is crafted in Chinese silver, with a 90 hallmark of Wang Hing to the base. Wang Hing is a great, known Chinese silversmith.
