Ikea Vallentuna 3 seater sofa bed

Selling our IKEA VALLENTUNA modular sofa in light grey. Personally, I think this was one of the best sofas IKEA ever made, but unfortunately the VALLENTUNA range was discontinued a few years ago. We've owned this from new, originally buying it from IKEA in Australia around 2015/2016, and brought it back to Ireland with us when we moved home. It's currently set up as a two-seater, as shown in the photos, but we also have an additional matching module which can be added to turn it into a three-seater. The two main seat modules are both pull-out sofa beds, as demonstrated in the photos. Each one pulls out individually, so you can use one as a single bed or open both together to create a much larger sleeping area. The additional third module is a standard fixed seating module rather than a pull-out bed. When everything is closed and set up as a sofa, all three modules look the same. One of the best features of the VALLENTUNA is how modular it is. The individual sections can be rearranged and the sofa can be configured differently depending on your room. Additional VALLENTUNA modules can also be added if you can source them second-hand, allowing configurations such as an L-shaped sofa. The fabric covers are removable and machine washable, which has made it incredibly easy to keep clean over the years. Extremely comfortable and very well looked after. Both opened together provide approximately 160 × 200 cm of sleeping space.
