100% oak tree trunk stool / side table It features a modern, geometric design with a raw, natural aesthetic. Height 45 cm Width 42cm The piece has been carved into a tapered, faceted form (similar to a truncated heptagonal or octagonal pyramid). The top shows the natural end grain and growth rings of the wood. A unique, scalloped circular pattern has been etched around the center. A prominent vertical crack (known as "checking") runs from the center of the top down through the side. This is common in solid wood pieces as they dry and adds to its rustic, organic character. It was there already when we bought it. The wood has a light, natural finish that highlights the warm tones and grain patterns and helps brighten up interiors.
