They are connected by a kidney-shaped or notched undertier storage shelf, It features ormolu gilt-bronze or other metal decorative mounts along the upper corners of the legs and protective metal sabots on the feet. The protective metal rim outlining the oval top is another typical decorative signature.The front apron includes a small pull-out drawer with a central metal knob for hidden storage.
