Beautiful Iconic Mid Century Model 411 G PLAN Siesta/Chesterfield Lounge Chair,deigned by V.B.Wilkins for E.Gomme.More Rare than the basic 411 Siesta version,it's hard to overstate just how comfortable this is,as it was designed as a Lounge chair to give both lumbar and neck support whilst your relaxing.Comes with later G Plan Quatrille Footstool upholstered in matching Faux Fur. All the interior filling have been replaced in a Frame Up restoration,while keeping the original springs in the backrest. It has been reupholstered in Fabulous on trend Faux Fur Dark Chocolate colour fabric. The Beech Frame is in excellent original condition, with minor wear commensurate with age. Last 2 photos show the chair in Red/Black from the 1956 G Plan Catalogue, page 5,and the black and white photo from the Times in November 1955.
