Drop Leaf Dining Table with pedestal Base in solid Mahogany, c1880, plus 6 Chairs. A stunning vintage antique drop leaf dining table with cutlery drawers on two sides. Solid single board top and drop leaves. Very high quality and well made. It is in good solid condition but does some signs of age through scuffs, dents & dings. Circa 1880. Height 29” 23” when folded, 60” when open. Full surface dimension are 5ft x 4ft Drawer dimensions are 17” wide x 15.5” deep x 2” high. In addition, there is a set of six antique Victorian Dining Chairs. This set of mahogany dining chairs have a shaped back with a carved and pierced centre splat and recently upholstered padded seats, with authentic horse hair. All supported by turned and reeded front legs with castors under the front legs and swept back legs. One front leg castor is missing from one of the seats. This fully functional versatile table would make a real centerpiece for those special occasions as well as practical dining room furniture, with its beautiful design and detail.
