1978 Kawasaki Z650

We hand-picked this Z650 for one simple reason: it's exactly the bike Kawasaki intended it to be, and finding one this honest nearly fifty years on is getting harder every year. The Z650 was the thinking rider's Z1 the same four-cylinder DNA in a lighter, sweeter-handling package and this one wears its age beautifully. Finished in the classic candy emerald green with gold pinstriping, this is a genuine Irish-registered 1978 example (78-D) that's clearly been cherished. The bike came to us in superb order the paintwork has a deep gloss to it, the engine cases are clean and bright, and the whole machine presents the way a well-kept Z should. It's fitted with a period Giuliari seat, the Italian aftermarket saddle that was the fashionable upgrade back in the day, and it suits the bike perfectly.
