Vehicle Overview
Description
We are delighted to present another one of our hand-picked motorcycles here at Retro Bikes Dublin, and this one is a genuinely rare find. This 1987 Suzuki Gemma 90 is a proper period Japanese scooter, and you simply do not see these come up for sale, especially not in this kind of honest, complete condition. This is a real collector's piece. It came to us as a Japanese import, and it still has its original Suzuki CS90DC parts catalogue and Japanese registration paperwork with it, which is a lovely touch and tells you it has been looked after by people who appreciated it. It is now Irish registered on an 87-D Dublin plate, and it stood out to us straight away for just how clean and original it presents. The Gemma was Suzuki's smart, comfortable commuter scooter of the era, with that unmistakable 1980s styling, a step-through frame, twist-and-go ease and proper practicality built in. This one has the classic black and grey colour scheme, a comfortable dual seat and a handy rear carrier, so it is as usable as it is characterful. Some of the highlights include: 89cc two-stroke automatic engine Twist-and-go, no gears to worry about Classic 1980s black and grey Suzuki styling Comfortable dual seat with grab rail Rear luggage carrier / rack Front and rear lockable storage Original Suzuki CS90DC parts catalogue included Japanese import with original paperwork Irish registered on an 87-D (Dublin) plate It is a lovely thing in person and genuinely something we are proud to have in stock. We work hard to find bikes that feel a little bit different, machines that have real character and history rather than just being standard examples, and this Gemma 90 fits that perfectly. It presents beautifully for its age, the bodywork is clean and the chrome is sharp, and overall it is just a really honest, well-kept example of a scooter that is becoming genuinely collectible. A lovely opportunity for someone who wants something a little different, easy to ride and full of period charm.

Thanks a million Alan for ordering the part in for the starting issue and installing the aftermarket parts to get my FZ1-S winter ready.
