Vehicle Overview
Description
We are delighted to present another one of our hand-picked motorcycles here at Retro Bikes Dublin, and this one is a proper slice of 1980s Japanese engineering. This Suzuki GSX400F is a genuine air-cooled, four-cylinder classic from the golden era of the UJM, and they are becoming increasingly hard to find, especially wearing this lovely original red and white Suzuki race livery. This one stood out to us straight away. The GSX400F was Suzuki's smaller-capacity sportster built around a proper inline-four, with the twin-cam, 16-valve top end that the side panels proudly shout about. It is a little jewel of an engine, smooth, revvy and full of character, with that unmistakable four-into-one exhaust note that only an air-cooled four can make. It has that classic upright 1980s stance, twin clocks, spoked-look alloy wheels and the timeless red, white and black Suzuki colour scheme that looks just as good today as it did when new. Bikes like this are exactly what enthusiasts are chasing now, an honest, usable, four-cylinder modern classic with proper period charm. Some of the highlights include: 399cc air-cooled DOHC 16-valve inline-four engine Four-into-one exhaust system Classic red / white / black Suzuki race livery Twin analogue clocks with gear-position indicator Front disc and rear drum brakes Alloy wheels Comfortable dual seat Irish registered on an 88-WX (Wexford) plate It is a lovely thing in person and genuinely something we are proud to have in stock. We work hard to find bikes that feel a little bit different, machines with real character and condition rather than just being standard examples, and this GSX400F fits that perfectly. It presents well throughout, the paint and graphics are clean and sharp, the engine looks the part and overall it is just a really honest, well-kept example of an increasingly collectible Japanese four. A lovely opportunity for someone who wants a characterful, great-sounding classic that stands out from the usual crowd.

Thanks a million Alan for ordering the part in for the starting issue and installing the aftermarket parts to get my FZ1-S winter ready.
