Vehicle Overview
Description
We are delighted to present another one of our hand-picked motorcycles here at Retro Bikes Dublin, and this one is a proper slice of 1990s nostalgia. This 1993 Yamaha TDR125 is a genuine modern classic, and finding one in this kind of original, honest condition is getting harder and harder. This is a real enthusiast's bike. The TDR125 was Yamaha's clever crossover, a lightweight two-stroke single wrapped up in supermoto-style looks, with that unmistakable purple, teal and blue Yamaha graphics scheme that the era is famous for. It came to us looking exactly as one of these should, and we loved it straight away for just how complete and well-kept it is. What makes the TDR125 so good is the package. You get a punchy liquid-cooled two-stroke engine, a proper Deltabox-style frame, twin round headlights up front and a riding position that makes it brilliant fun around town and out on the back roads. It is light, eager and full of character, and there is a real and growing following for these bikes now among collectors and riders who remember them first time around. Some of the highlights include: Liquid-cooled two-stroke single-cylinder engine Aftermarket Giannelli exhaust fitted Iconic 1990s purple / teal / blue Yamaha graphics Twin round headlights with blue cockpit fairing Front and rear disc brakes Alloy sport wheels Tachometer, speedo and temperature gauge clocks Irish registered on a 93-G (Galway) plate It is a stunning bike in person and genuinely something we are proud to have in stock. We work hard to find bikes that feel a little bit different, bikes that have real character and condition rather than just being standard examples, and this TDR125 fits that perfectly. It presents beautifully, the bodywork and graphics are clean and sharp, and overall it is just a really honest, well-looked-after example of a bike that is only going to become more sought after. A lovely opportunity for someone who wants a fun, affordable two-stroke modern classic with proper '90s character.

Thanks a million Alan for ordering the part in for the starting issue and installing the aftermarket parts to get my FZ1-S winter ready.
