Vehicle Overview
Description
2001 Aprilia RST 1000 Futura – Fast, Rare, Rotax V-Twin – Future Classic Reluctantly selling my Aprilia RST 1000 Futura. This is not your average sports bike — it’s a seriously fast, very comfortable Italian sport-tourer with the legendary Rotax V-twin engine (same engine family as the RSV Mille), loads of torque and an incredible sound. The bike is mechanically very sound and runs beautifully. It pulls hard through the gears and is a genuinely quick machine, but also extremely comfortable for longer spins. These bikes are becoming rare now and are a bit of a future classic — especially for someone who wants something different from the usual VFRs and Blackbirds. Details: - 2001 Aprilia RST 1000 Futura - 998cc Rotax V-Twin - Mechanically excellent - Cosmetically a bit raw in places (age-related marks) - New front tyre - Rear tyre fairly new - Great brakes, suspension and loads of power - Very comfortable riding position - Sounds amazing I’m only selling because with a new baby I’m mostly riding in traffic and not using the bike the way it should be ridden. This bike is made for open roads and fast touring and deserves an owner who’ll enjoy it properly. These are a lot of bike for the money and getting harder to find. Price: €3,250 ONO
