2003 Suzuki GSX-R 1000

2003 Suzuki GSX-R 1000 (K2 but registered in 03) 28,000 miles Southern reg This is a great example and is not to be mistaken for a clapped out one Iconic Suzuki colours Running spot on ready for the season Fully serviced with Motul 7100, Hilflo oil & air filters & NGK plugs New rear tyre (Michelin 2CT) New DID gold chain and JT sprocket kit The GSX-R 1000 K1/2 set the standards for all superbikes back in the early 2000s. They are ultra reliable but did come with 2 common issues, the factory 6 pot tokico calipers were extremely troublesome. I've addressed this by replacing them with 4 pot Nisin calipers from a 954 Fireblade (I also have the standard 6 pot Tokicos). This has transformed the braking system. It now has brakes that you can have confidence in. The other issue was the charging system, it was known for RR/stator issues. I've addressed this by upgrading to a RICKS system and hardwiring the loom from the stator to the RR (this is the only known cure for it) The bike is largely original apart from a few nice subtle mods including a Yoshimura Tri-oval rear can (standard can there also) Braided lines Full R&G kit (bar ends, fairing protectors, swingarm protectors & paddock stand bobbins) A blue tinted double bubble screen comes with the bike Titanium disc bolts front and back, titanium caliper carrier bolts, titanium chain adjuster bolts & a titanium axle nut(these will not rust and look great) Anything the bike needed it got. The bike is a great example with no expense spared on having it in the best possible condition. Note: there are a couple of marks around the bike. Nothing major but there none the less.
