2007 Harley-Davidson Sportster 883R

Selling my 2007 Sportster 883R. The R is the flat-track-styled version of the 883, and you don't see many of them around, especially in this condition. It has 18,969 km on the clock and is completely original. It has never been modified, cut or messed with, and it's exactly as it left the factory, which is rare for a Sportster this age. People sometimes write off the 883 as a beginner's Harley, but the R is a different animal. It's got twin discs up front, so it stops properly, and the mid-mount pegs mean you sit up over the bike rather than lounging back with your feet out front. It feels more like a proper motorcycle than a cruiser. It's surprisingly good fun on a back road and has plenty of grunt from low down. It's not a superbike and I won't pretend it is, but it's a lot more capable than people give it credit for. I bought it three months ago from Belfast Harley-Davidson, and they gave it a full service and new tyres before I took it. There's nothing to do but ride it. Honestly, it would suit anyone: an experienced rider wanting a fun second bike, someone after their first Harley, or someone looking for a clean, unmolested base to build on. The bike is in Lusk, North County Dublin, and you're welcome to come and look. Test rides are available to fully licensed and insured riders, with cash in hand. No swaps, please.
