2007 Kawasaki Versys KLE 650 A2

Designed and built by Kawasaki Aerospace during the good times (2007) before DFMA. One of the best all round motorcycles ever designed. Based on the same chassis and engine as the Ninja 650/ER6 but won't give you a bad back and sore wrists. Uneven length headers so bike sounds deeper than most 180° twin crotch rockets. Hair under 200kg with a generous 19 liter fuel tank (400km+ range) Very easy to maneuver, bike is short and narrow. Kawasaki easy neutral. Gull-wing swingarm and underside exhaust. Nice metallic paint and distinct headlight with good beam pattern. Big service done in February: • DID gold X ring chain • NGK iridium spark plugs • New air filter • Motul 5100W oil and filter (oil change with filter done again July 16th • All 6 brake pads • Two new Metzler tyres, fork seal (other one included) and valves done by SBK June 30th Bike comes with ton of extras: • Loster Touring screen on custom heavily damped mount (I will include original MRA screen) • Koso integrated switch heated grips (not the Oxford sh*** that fails after one season) • Stainless radiator guard • Mirror extenders (they make a big difference) • LED headlight swap • Factory Givi colour matched panniers (each fit a full face helmet) with proper factory narrow mounts so you can lane filter even fully loaded • Givi single helmet top box (can include E46 for €150 extra) • Barkbusters handguards • Gear indicator • Both manuals Sit on it and ride anywhere. Like 99% of first gen KLE's it has the Versys rattle. One fairing buzzes a bit as I think I lost the rubber grommet when I had the tank off doing the big service, I ride with earplugs so I don't notice it. Bike has been in Ireland for 18 years so not immaculate but mechanically excellent. This one is 25kW on logbook so A2 friendly. Bike can be seen in Bandon. No license/cash/insurance no test.
