2008 Honda Zoomer

We are delighted to present another one of our hand-picked motorcycles here at Retro Bikes Dublin, and this one is a proper modern cult classic. This 2008 Honda Zoomer is one of the coolest little machines Honda ever made, and they have built up a serious following among riders who love something a bit different from the usual scooter. This one stood out to us straight away. The Zoomer threw the rulebook out the window, instead of hiding everything behind plastic, Honda left the chunky tubular frame, the fuel tank and the mechanicals all on show, gave it fat balloon tyres and twin round headlights, and created something that looks like nothing else on the road. It is part scooter, part mini-bike, all attitude. The best bit is that underneath the tough-looking styling sits Honda's bulletproof 49cc four-stroke automatic engine, so it is twist-and-go easy, sips fuel, and is famously reliable and cheap to run. It is the perfect city runabout with genuine head-turning style, and a real favourite for customising too.
