Vehicle Overview
Description
We are delighted to present another one of our hand-picked motorcycles here at Retro Bikes Dublin, and this one is a brilliant do-it-all middleweight with a real bit of attitude. This Kawasaki ER-6F is one of the most popular all-rounders Kawasaki has ever built, and it is easy to see why, it is friendly, flexible and genuinely good fun, yet still relaxed enough to live with every day. This one came to us as a well-cared-for example that its previous owner had clearly enjoyed and personalised with taste. Finished in deep gloss black with subtle red and orange detailing, it has a purposeful, sporty look that turns heads without trying too hard. It sits on smart alloy wheels with red rim tape, twin petal front discs and a single rear, so it pulls up as confidently as it goes. At the heart of it is Kawasaki's much-loved 649cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin, a wonderfully torquey and tractable engine that makes its power in a smooth, usable way. There is plenty of midrange to make overtakes and commutes effortless, but it never feels intimidating, which is exactly why the ER-6F is such a favourite for riders stepping up to a middleweight as well as experienced hands who just want a sweet-handling, no-drama machine. With its upright riding position, half-fairing and comfy seat, it is equally at home in town, on the back roads or out on a longer run. The previous owner has fitted a tidy selection of extras that lift it above a standard example. Some of the highlights include: 649cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine Six-speed gearbox with smooth, usable power Black Widow aftermarket exhaust Adjustable aftermarket brake and clutch levers Braided front brake lines Twin front petal discs and rear disc brake Frame sliders / crash bobbins fitted Colour-anodised bolts, bar-ends and detailing Red rim tape and dragon graphics Tank protector pad and carbon-look trim Smart gloss black finish on neat alloy wheels Irish registered on an 11-D (Dublin) plate It presents really well throughout, the black bodywork is clean and glossy, and the thoughtful modifications give it a bit more character than the usual stock example without going overboard. Altogether it is a punchy, practical and great-handling middleweight that is ready to ride away, and a lovely opportunity for anyone after a versatile all-rounder that can do the commute during the week and put a proper smile on your face at the weekend.

Thanks a million Alan for ordering the part in for the starting issue and installing the aftermarket parts to get my FZ1-S winter ready.
