I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the recent service I received for my motorbike at Yamaha Charles Hurst Boucher Road facility.

I brought the motorbike in specifically to have issues with the front brake caliper and the silent exhaust diagnosed and resolved. I chose your service center precisely because it is an official Yamaha dealership, and I trusted that the reputation for quality and professionalism associated with Yamaha would be upheld. Unfortunately, my experience did not reflect that standard.

Rather than addressing the problems I clearly identified, the service team appeared to prioritize other, simpler replacements. I was later informed that both the caliper and the exhaust would require complete replacement, and I was presented with a quote that was unreasonably high. Despite this, I was charged a substantial amount for the service, and my motorbike was returned to me with the original issues completely unresolved.

In addition, I was very disappointed by the attitude of one member of the service team, who was noticeably indifferent and frivolous when I raised my concerns. This lack of professionalism only added to my frustration and left me feeling that my concerns were not taken seriously.

To make matters worse, the motorbike was fully running when I dropped it off, but when I came to collect it, it would not start—something that had never been an issue prior to the service.

When I asked to speak with a manager to raise these concerns in person, I was told that no direct number could be provided. I was only given a landline for the service department and informed that the manager was unavailable and too busy to speak with me. Although I was promised a callback when the manager was next available, I made it clear that I wished to speak with him face-to-face, not over the phone.
