2024 Honda Gold Wing GL1800

It is with a heavy heart that I decided to put my favourite Gold Wing up for sale. Up to recently I have had second hand bikes, all of which served me well, but I never had a brand new one. Then in late 2023 - I decided to take the plunge. I always liked the ride and feel of a Honda Gold Wing and so I set about to buy a new one. I wished to have a 'bagger' model with a manual transmission. The touring GL model always looked a bit bulky to me - and as my wife refuses to mount any type of motor cycle - I have no use for the rear seat, other than having extra luggage space in the top-box. I also have a liking for a manual transmission with the feel of moving up and down the gears myself. As I searched for a 'bagger' style GL 1800 with manual clutch- I found in nearly impossible to get one - as they are all now DCT 's. The only option open to me was to purchase a touring model with manual transmission and to remove the rear seat to convert it to a 'bagger' - which is what I did. The bike was a dream to ride and it looked sleeker in appearance. I collected the bike in early 2024 and I loved it. However in late 2024 I was then hit with a medical diagnosis which is progressive in nature and it meant that I could no longer ride it, or any other type of motorcycle. The pictures attached show the bike as I received it with the Top box on and other pictures after the top box was removed by using a simple conversion kit. So - for sale is my 2024 Honda Gold Wing GL 1800 'bagger' along with the original top box (if you wish to re-attach same) and a few other accessories. It is all for sale as a complete package - so the top box is not for sale as a separate item. The bike has all of the features of a GL 1800 touring bike, with just 9,600 Kms on the clock.
