If you've ever heard of the Baja 1000 then you've heard of the Honda CL72. It was the first ever bike to complete it, infact it only exists because of this 1965 Honda, driven the 1000 miles by famous Bud Ekins brother Dave, Bud Ekins sold these bikes out of his shop in California and set up the journey to prove Hondas reliability. Bud Ekins was the stunt driver on the motorcycle that done the famous jump over the wire in the great escape. This bike is running flawlessly and was fully restored by the famous bike builder Graham Curtis in the UK including a full rebuild of the engine, gearbox and clutch, it was he that suggested to leave it in its full original condition as the years were very kind to it.
