A master of fast and very fast corners. Contrary to appearances, this isn't "just" a GS with sports suspension and tires. It features a completely different frame, engine components, intake and exhaust systems, a 6 hp increase in power and 65 Nm of torque. A sporty, rigid rear mono-link and revised front suspension. A comfortable highway cruising speed of 120-160 km/h, at which the bike is very stable, allows for long trips. A very successful and reliable motorcycle. A great bike for the city and the track, with firm sports suspension and a Rotax engine (reliable, by the way). A big plus is the belt drive – maintenance-free and clean. Build quality is fantastic! BMW did a great job here, reliability above all! Just change the oil and ride.
