BMW K 1200 LT 2002

For sale: BMW K1200LT, 2002 model, with 43,000 miles. This is a premium luxury touring motorcycle designed for long-distance comfort, stability, and rider/passenger comfort. The bike has been stored in a dry garage for the last 3 years and has not been used during that time. I simply no longer have time to ride, which is the only reason for selling. Condition & known issues: * Battery is completely dead and needs replacing * ABS warning lights are currently on after startup (likely sensor-related due to long storage, previously no ABS issues) * Rear top case lock / cover flap damaged due to attempted break-in; repair was attempted but not done properly * General recommissioning required due to long inactivity * Nearly new tyres fitted, only around 1,000 km used * Professionally reupholstered rider and passenger seats with brand new foam padding (€450 upgrade) – extremely comfortable and in excellent condition * Heated grips * Heated rider and passenger seats * Large electrically adjustable windscreen * Excellent wind protection and highway stability * Built for serious touring and long journeys * Extremely comfortable for rider and passenger (one of BMW’s flagship touring models) Access from the house to the garage is very narrow, so the bike needs at least two people to be pushed out.
