DUCATI Other 2005

This is a rare Ducati S2R in pristine condition. Just over 10,000 km on the clock. Plastic fuel tank, saves weight. Single sided swing arm. Slipper clutch (if you like to move it on) The legend says that the Monster section of Ducati went over and "raided" the race department to make a very light and fast Monster, this is the result, an ultra nimble, light and fast machine. A drivers bike if you will. It feels like you are riding a magic carpet due to its light weight and handling characteristics. Not sure that it is for beginners, it moves along quite rapidly. I have been out with lots of modern Ducati owners and have no trouble keeping up. Decatted as in pics,full stainless system fitted, and the original exhausts,with the cat,is also included in the sale. Belts done last year by Robbie in Moto Technic and serviced. Nothing needed with this bike. Taxed also until Dec 2025. All keys and original manuals present. Tool kit,original,metal prop for propping the tank all there. I am the third owner,the first owner bought the bike,went to Italy on it and left it lying for years until it was bought and recommissioned by the second owner who kept it for a year and sold it to me. Approx 5,000 of it km were put on by its first owner on its Europe trip. It's a massive head turner. The only trouble with the bike is when you stop somewhere, everybody admires it and wants to talk to you about it but not a bad problem to have. A beauty and a classic.
