HD 1200 XL Sportster 2006 *PARTS/PROJECT*

Hi there, here's the story: I bought this bike in 2023 and I did ride with it for a solid year, very fun bike, powerful and great sound. I went travelling for a year and unfortunately left the bike to a person that did not take care of it an basically left it to rust in a shed not fully covered. It did start again when I came back but the humidity did damages and the bike quickly started to have issues and stop running and I didn't have the time or the money to take care of it so it has been staying under a tarp for a good year. I got the bike to the HD Waterford garage to fix it (great guys) but the amount of work for to service the bike and to make it run properly was just not worth spending. So I'm putting it here for anybody that has time to spend on it or just want to take it apart for parts, could be a cool winter project. Would be a shame to just scrap this bike. Roughly what needs to be done on the bike apart from cleaning the rusty parts : - Fix/Replace the wiring - Oil change - Drain and clean Fuel - Put a New Battery - Fix the Saddle or get a new one, as our german sheperd puppy decided to have a go at it (see the pics) The bike comes with one key. I can also throw in a new chrome oil filter, 1L of chain transmisson lubricant and a 20w50 jug of engine oil. Open to any reasonable offer, available in West Kerry.
