Honda CB125, 1973

1973 CB125 in very good condition. One of two bikes I have had sitting in the garage since 2004. ( see my other ad for the CG125 ) Was restored by the previous owner when I brought it in from the UK it but had got a bit tired in the meantime so it got a freshen up and a service. I stripped it to the frame and repainted it,. Did everything that needed doing along the way. I've put in pictures without the side panels to show the tidy electrics and airbox. The tank and side panels are original and I have left them alone - they show some signs of age normal for a bike this old. Mechanically: Bike is 100% complete down to the original key that works in the ignition and helmet lock. Starts first kick and runs perfectly. All electrics work as they should. New battery just fitted. Oil change and plug done about 50km ago. Chain and sprockets are good. Overhead Cam is 100% perfect - this was a weak point in this model due people putting the wrong grade oil in the engine. Bad points: There's some surface rust ( though not much) on the tank - see the photos. Some minor scuffs and wear on the side panels. The bike has been resprayed so it isn't original - However it still looks the part. It's not a show bike but it is in very good condition for a 52 year old machine. It looks nice and fresh and it's great fun to ride. Perfect for summer bike runs or just pottering around. Check out the video clip to see it running.
