1980 Honda Cbx 1000 pro link with total Engine and Gearbox rebuild may 2025. Lovely bike with sensible upgrades,cbx750 wheels allowing 120 front tyre,160 rear tyre,brake callipers where reconditioned last year,the seat was recovered with gel pad,satan black exhaust with chrome cans 6-2.New headlight,4 new indicators,headlight screen. The engine needed reconditioning so was rebuilt using many new part from Leo at the super sport shed and parts from a crash damaged Cbx 1000 with 16k miles. The crankshaft, conrods,barrels and pistons were taken out of the engine with 16k miles, (it had damage to bottom engine casing)and fitted to this engine.6 sets of new piston rings, 2 New cam chains. Primary chain taken from 16k engine as was the oil pump chain,full gearbox swap from 16k engine,main bearings were changed to suit the crank in my cases.Full gasket set,Valve checked,clearances checked and shimmed.New starter motor,new battery. Carburettors stripped cleaned and rejetted where needed.The bike runs great.Full service,oil,oil filter,6 spark plugs,the Airbox has the original Airbox lid.The bike comes with its standard fairing,headlight,indicators plus 2 chrome 6-2 exhausts,both in good condition just need a clean.The bike is tax and mot except and registered as a historic vehicle on v5 in my name.The bike is in Belfast,we can arrange delivery almost anywhere at a sensible price. 9950euro
