Dropped in to freeman’s for a new back tyre yesterday went for brekkie and it was done when I got back , great service and banter as usual , I have also bought all new gear from them over the summer and after several thousand k I’m delighted with it all , the hjc100 helmet is excellent and the built in visor is a great job , I’ll be back for sure

Just bought a Harley Davidson from Freemans. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough. From the initial return to my donedeal enquiry, to getting the bike I dealt with Toddy. A pure gent to deal with. The bike needed a little bit of paintwork corrected, and when it wasn’t ready for the day I was hoping to collect it, Toddy decided to deliver it to me in Cork, as he had given me his word. (I thought it was a loose, hopefully it will be ready by that day statement, but I was delighted he did).
Just today I got a message out of blue from Toddy again checking in to see if I was enjoying the bike in the sun.
Delighted with my purchase, and delighted with the service.

The lads and the mechanics here are absolutely outstanding. Honestly, they’re great at what they do and really decent people. I have absolutely no complaints about the mechanics at all — they’re professional, helpful and clearly very good at their jobs.

Unfortunately, the experience with the receptionist was the complete opposite. From the moment I walked in the door, she rolled her eyes at me and looked me up and down. I’ve never experienced someone so rude in a customer-facing role. Her attitude was extremely unprofessional, she swore during the interaction, and it honestly felt like she just hates her job.

I’ve since heard from family members and friends who also go there that they’ve had very similar experiences with her, so it doesn’t seem to be a one-off. It’s a real shame because the mechanics themselves are fantastic and deserve better representation at the front desk.
She looks down on people and acts like she’s above everyone. She is unbelievably unbearable to deal with it.

I genuinely think the business would benefit from addressing this, because the people doing the actual work are excellent.
