2008 Honda Deauville NT700VA8 In good overall condition for age. 680cc fuel-injected V-twin engine with 5 speed transmission and shaft drive. Also has a fully functioning ABS system with combined braking system. Factory fitted immobiliser as part of Honda's integrated HISS system - Honda Ignition Security System. Bike is super reliable, starts, stops, and drives perfectly. Used as a daily commuter (approx. 40km per day) and has been a very practical and comfortable bike to ride. Excellent wind protection from adjustable front screen and well designed front fairing that keep the wind and rain off the rider. The bike has integrated side panniers and genuine Honda top box. Regular maintenance carried out on bike, most notable repairs within the last year, include: 1. Front and rear ABS sensors replaced. 2. All brake calipers, front and rear, rebuilt with new pistons, seals, boots, brake fluid, and brake pads. 4. Indicator switch rebuilt. 3. Upgraded all bulbs to LED and all emit lovely, crisp light which helps increase visibility on the road. Minor points that may need attention, but do not affect the running of the bike: 1. Some black plastics weathered. Could be brought back to life with some elbow grease. 2. Key broken in top box, but latch still works well. 3. Heated grips not working. No part exhanges, swaps, or trades. Without a minimum full A2 category bike licence and insurance, there will be no test drive. Both calls and texts are welcome. Time wasters will not be entertained.
