Honda Hornet 250 CB250F 1999

1999 Honda Hornet 250 - CB250F Starts, rides & stops like a new bike. Just fully serviced - Castrol 10w40, new oil filter, 4x new NGK spark plugs, air filter cleaned. Carburetors stripped and jets cleaned, 4x new float bowl gaskets - carbs balanced. New YTZ7s battery. New front & rear wheel bearings. Front brake master cylinder rebuilt, front & rear calipers stripped & cleaned. Good meat on brake pads. Bridgestone S22 tyres with lots of thread left. Stainless steel downpipes. Most fasteners around the bike itself and engine have been replaced with stainless. Has the legendary reliable 4 cylinder MC14 engine also found in the CBR250RR. Addictive rev happy little engine , with a 17/18k red-line & gear driven cams. This bike is in excellent mechanical order, needs no work done & won't need any future investments for a long time. Cosmetically the overall condition is very good, but it does have one small ding/dent and some very small rust blemishes on the tank (see pictures) , there is also some very light superficial surface rust around the headstock area (also pictured) - not bad for its age. The bike was stood stored for 10+ years until recently. It doesn't have road tax on it at the minute. But have the reg book & key. Getting rare now, especially in good condition. Very reluctant sale, will do a deal with cash either way depending on condition for an old adventure bike, Africa Twin RD07, XTZ 750 Tenere etc. Otherwise straight cash sale.
