This original Goldwing has just undergone a complete mechanical overhaul costing close to €3,000 with receipts for proof of work. The work undertaken comprised of: - A rebuild of the four carburettors. - New timing belts and adjusters - A Dyna S Ignition system - Fuel Pump Assy - Caliper rebuilds - Two new Battleax BT46 tyres - Engine service The bike now starts, runs and stops perfectly. My plan had been to address the bike's cosmetic needs next, but an unexpected campervan bill means I now need to move the bike on to its next owner. The bike comes with a sidecar and the necessary bits to connect it to the bike if the purchaser wishes to take these. The GL1000 is the original Goldwing and is a relatively rare bike in Ireland. It probably goes without saying that the bike stands me a lot more than the asking price.
