Honda VFR 800 VTEC 2003

Recently done: Replaced gutted end cans with standard ones in decent condition (Gutted ones going with the bike in case you want to deafen all and sundry) Stainless Delkevic Headers installed by previous owner Heated Grips (R&G, very warm) Tank Pads R&G Crash Bungs (200 euros approx.) 2 Cam Chain Tensioners incl. Gaskets (100-150 euros each) another well know fault on many Hondas. Replaced with latest iteration so should be spot on for the life of the bike. New Battery Main Wiring Harness Replaced (common fault* on these) Front Wiring Harness Replaced (for the lights etc, also a common fault*) *fault seems to stem from poor connection in Earth Blocks which overheats the effected circuit and causes things to melt ... New Starter Relay** New switchgear on RHS** **melted by previous dodgy harness. Dodgy harness can be provided as proof and also as a spare for connectors; and/or to show where common faults occur if the buyer wants, otherwise I will dispose of it. Reg/Rec replaced by previous owner (another common fault, across many Hondas, not just these). Scottoiler installed by previous owner 2 Keys present Have Handlebar Muffs I use from time to time, may throw in if you're gonna use it to commute 12 months of the year. Have Digital Copy of Genuine Honda Workshop Manual which outlines procedures for maintenance and repair incl. Torque Specs etc. Will email/whatsapp to new owner. Have some pages printed out as well. Approx. 41,500miles/67,000km A few age related marks but it's a workhorse not a show pony. Not fussed, if the interest is not there I'll keep as a winter hack as I use a bike to commute all year around.
